Part-time Administrator/Receptionist at Waters Edge

Alpha Health Care has an exciting opportunity for a:

Administrator / Receptionist to work 15hrs per week on Thursday & Friday from 9am – 5pm at our Residential Dementia service, Waters Edge Care Home.

£8.75 per hour

The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective running of our Care Home Reception and provide Administrative support to the Care Home Management Team.

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

•              Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills

•              Excellent Communication skills

•              Experience in a similar role is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide high quality professional first contact at the Care Home reception, dealing with telephone, email, face-to-face enquiries and visitors, in a friendly and efficient manner. • Carry out full administrative duties as required by the Care Home Manager and their management team. • Attend and actively participate in Care Home staff meetings, and resident meetings, as and when required. • Ensure all Safeguarding, health & safety, fire, environmental and other legal requirements are properly discharged and when all care home staff and where appropriate residents and/or visitors are made aware of these requirements and obligations. • Provide cover for the Care Home Receptionists across the Lakes site. • To ensure full compliance with process to ensure confidentiality of information. • Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you.
