Special Visitor pops in for a cuppa at Lakeview Care Home

On Friday 28th September Residents, Visitors and Staff came together to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Lakeview Care Home and help raise vital funds for people living with cancer.

Bringing millions of people together for coffee and cake each September, Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has become a British institution over the years – with thousands of events happening up and down the country, including in Great Wyrley.

Speaking after the event, TK, Reminiscence Co-ordinator at Lakeview Care Home said:

“We really enjoyed doing our bit for this year’s Coffee Morning. It was great to get people together, have a nibble and a natter and raise money for Macmillan to help people living with cancer at the same time. I want to thank everyone who supported and helped to make it a success.”

“We were delighted that Muggy, the Macmillan Cancer support mug mascot for Macmillan was able to join in with the fun”
