All the fun of the Seaside was had by the staff and residents of Waters Edge Care home, Great Wyrley when the home held a Beach Day on the 16th August.
The care homes gardens were transformed into a Beach with sand, pools, inflatables and a traditional Punch and Judy show. Ice creams and refreshments were served at the Beach party and staff dressed in grass skirts and flower garlands.
The main attraction was the traditional Punch and Judy Show by Local puppeteer and Magic Man Derek Peasley. Jenny Cowley Waters Edge Activity Co-ordinator said “The day was a great success all the residents enjoyed the activities during the Beach party and the Punch and Judy show was brilliant fun”
