At the start of 2018 we embarked on our World Journey and around the world activities at Waters Edge Care Home. Across 2018 the residents are being taken on a journey around the world.
We are now over half way through our world journey and the next stop is the United States of America (USA), commonly known as the United States or America, composed of 50 states. At 3.8 million square miles and with over 325 million people, the USA is the world’s third largest country by total area. The capital is Washington, D.C. and the largest city by population is New York City.
During July the activities will include Vegas Style entertainment with Pam Catz, interesting facts about America with our weekly quizzes, some themed craft sessions, Art Lessons using lovely landscapes from Texas and Cinema showings of famous films
