One of our residents from Lakeview Care Home has celebrated turning 100.
Doris Brookes turned 100 years young on the 17th December and marked this very special day with staff and her close family at the care home in Great Wryley.
Doris, who has lived at the home for 2 years, formerly lived in Bloxwich where she was married with two daughters and one granddaughter.
We asked the secret to a long and happy life and Doris’ daughter Betty told us that her mum liked a little tipple of Whiskey.
