We are delighted to include Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA®) training to all our staff based within the Coniston Centre.

Service manager said “MAPA® has proved to be a really successful tool, equipping staff with safe and effective physical interventions to manage the more challenging and aggressive behaviours experienced from time to time in our service.” As an organisation we will continue our investment in this area by enrolling a number of staff on a MAPA® instructor course, as Lisa Bradley, our training manger, observes “by bringing this specialist training in house we will be able to continue to develop our skills and experience in delivering the most effective and safe care for our residents.”
